As much as I have noticed that younger people do not like or appreciate having friendship relationships with older people, especially teenagers and youths. I have come to understand that having a relationship with them and being friends with them actually helps a lot.

As long as they are older. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they have to be in their 90s or 70s. I am talking about 13 year old being friends with someone a bit of more older, for instance, 20-30 year old person.
It doesn’t really matter what age. What matters is that the person is older in the sense that the person is more experience than you.

Older people are considered to be wiser because they have had experiences overtime. They have learnt things, they have learnt from their mistakes, they have learnt from other people’s experiences.
They have gone through school and read books and they’re just ultimately more intelligent in a way.
2. Older People Are More Experienced

Prior to the first reason given. this reason is a little alike. Older people are known to have stayed longer and the earth and are believed to have more experiences to life and living.
Being friends with older people would help your mental growth. This is because they are prone to talk about things that you probably never knew about their existed. And, if they happen to be very old, you might get a part of their inheritance.
Another interesting thing is most very old people often needs friends and people to talk to cos they’re mostly bored. be that l experiences.
Amazing to listen to something that you have never had an experience with so when you finally have an experience with that you certainly would have an idea on what to do and what not to do.

Having friends amongst older people doesn’t just help our mentality. It advances and changes the kind of decisions that we make.
Considering the fact that older people have wider experiences. We can learn from their experiences and make better choices in future times.
Just like our parents would, older friends in some way, helps us prepare for the future. They are the kind of friends that would ask you questions like; ‘What are you doing after college?’ ‘Also ‘what are your plans after High School?’
‘And what do you want to do with your life?’ ‘What’s your goals and ambitions?’ this is because they realise that life isn’t all about happy-go-lucky go.
They’re always there to push us further. To be better. They’re in a way more experience than we are.

Not every older person whom you’re friends with, or whom you know would be responsible persons.
However, it is important to note that most older people are responsible people. Being friends with these kind of people will not only help you in decision-making but also help you learn to be even more responsible.
Not only does older people inspire us to be better and have greater future. They also inspire and motivate us to be better than themselves.

Overtime i have notice that older people are satisfied to see younger people succeed. They go as far as motivating them to success and telling them how much they do believe in them— Just like grandma would!
Older people motivate the younger generation to get to their full potential. For instance, if they realize a younger boy or child is really fascinated with technology.
They might inspired that younger person to go into information and technology or something technical to ensure that passion and enthusiasm isn’t thrown out.

You would find a better role model in someone who is much more older than you. Also, a better mentor in someone who’s gone farther than you. That way, you can aspire to be better.
